Freestyle
This upcoming winter will be 6th season of the WPRC Freestyle team. From our humble beginnings in 2005, the freestyle team has grown and evolved into a team that consistently places athletes on the podium both locally and regionally.
The WPRC Freestyle Ski Team offers training programs for competent intermediate and expert skiers ages 7 to 19 years old. An interest in moguls and big air is all you need to join our team. Training is geared toward both age and ability. Competition is encouraged and supported but not required. Successful competition can lead to invitations to regional and national events. Most of all, we want our athletes to improve their skiing skills and develop a lifelong love of the sport.
Parent involvement is critical to the success of our program. Throughout the season, parents are needed to help maintain and build our training sites. On January 22-23, 2011 we will be hosting an Eastern Qualifying Series (EQS) mogul event. Parents will be needed for course preparation, registration, hospitality, and timing.
