Information for Coaches
Seeking Referees
John Reihner is the TD for our U14 State Championships. He is seeking coaches from across the regions to referee for the various races. If anyone is interested or has recommendations for referee, please reach out to him at reihner@comcast.net.
Coaches’ Lift Tickets
Complimentary coaches passes are provided on a 4:1 athlete to coach ratio. Coaches must hold a current USSS Coaching License. Coaches must register on AdminSkiRacing.com for the PARA U14 State Championship event by midnight Thursday (2/20) in order to secure a complimentary lift pass.

Complimentary Banquet and Pizza Party Tickets
Coaches are encouraged to attend the Athlete Banquet and Pizza Party. Coaches who register on AdminSkiRacing.com by midnight Thursday will receive free tickets to both events. Complimentary tickets will be distributed at the Team Captains meeting on Friday.
Team Captains Meetings
Meeting #1: Friday at 8:30 A.M.
Location: Gate Shack next to finish area at base of Avalanche Slope
Agenda includes:
- Racer role call
- Overview of weekend activities
- Friday Training timeline
- Distribution of coaches’ lift tickets
Meeting #2: Friday at 3:00 P.M. – SL / GS
Location: WPRC Training Center at base of Tyrol Slope
This meeting will start after all equipment has been stowed back in the gate shed at the base of Avalanche Slope. This meeting will cover both the Slalom and Giant Slalom activities on Saturday and Sunday. Agenda includes:
- Review of Event Scoring
- Review of Post Season Selection & Quotas
- Race day timeline for SL & GS
- Course setter selections: (2) SL and (2) GS

Western Pennsylvania Race Club (WPRC) is a successfully run ski program based at Seven Springs. The club has been in operation since 1962. WPRC promotes the development of youth athletics through alpine ski racing.
