What Must I Have to Ski With WPRC?
1. USSS License
Each participant must have an age appropriate USSS Alpine Competitor License. To obtain USSS membership, please goto USSS Membership website.
2. WPRC Membership
Registration and payment must be completed for each participant. Families can register and pay for all family members at one time. Click the button below to register.
3. USSS Approved Ski Helmet
A USSS certified ski helmet is required for all skiing activities, both training and racing. No athlete will be permitted to participate without one. Please refer to the USSS Alpine Rules & Equipment website for more information.
Membership Fee
Required for each participant.
Provides the following benefits:
- Regular weekend training
- Christmas Camp training
- Coaching support at races
- Club social activities
Volunteer Deposit
Required for each family.
The deposit will be refunded at the end of the season, if all volunteer duties have been met by the family. Please refer to the Volunteering section of our website for details on the volunteer program and requirements.
Wednesday Night Gates Fee
Optional for each participant in the U14, U16, or U19 age groups.
Additional gate training is provided on Wednesday nights in January and February. Training typically held on Avalanche Slope under the lights. Due to safety concerns, U10 and U12 athletes are not permitted to train at this time.
Western Pennsylvania Race Club (WPRC) is a successfully run ski program based at Seven Springs. The club has been in operation since 1962. WPRC promotes the development of youth athletics through alpine ski racing.
