There is no experience necessary for gatekeepers.  However, we strongly recommend you learn a little about the role before showing up for your first time.  The following is an excellent video produced by USSS to explain what the role entails.  The video is on 13:31 long, and explains everything you need to know about gatekeeping.  If you have any questions about what you see, don’t hesitate to reach out Mark Tulenko (volunteer coordinator), one of our head gatekeepers, or a coach.
